iSong Demo Download Instructions

Windows 95/98/XP/NT Download Instructions

Macintosh Download Instructions

Note: This product will not work with MacIntosh OS 9+ - No updates available

For Windows 95/98/XP/NT Users:

To download and install the iSong Player:

1) Select the Windows Player, and click the "Download Player" button.

2) A screen may appear asking, "What would you like to do with this file?" Choose the option to "Save this program to disk" and click OK.

3) A window will appear allowing you to select a location for the download. Select a destination for the download, and click the "Save" button.

4) Once the file is downloaded, you'll see an icon for the installation program, "Setup." Double-click on the Setup icon to launch the iSong installer.

5) Click the "Next" button on the first installation screen.

6) The "Select Destination Directory" screen should appear. By default, the iSong Player will be installed into a folder named "iSong" in the directory C:\ProgramFiles\. If this is OK, click the "Next" button. Otherwise, click the "Browse" button to select a different location for the iSong folder.

7) The "Ready to Install" screen will appear. Click "Back" to return to the previous step, or click "Next" to proceed with the installation.

8) After the software has been installed, the "Installation Completed!" screen will appear. Click the "Finish" button.

9) A window will appear indicating that the system needs to be restarted. Click "OK" to restart the computer.

Note: You must have QuickTime version 3.0 or greater installed in order to use the iSong Player. You can download QuickTime at http://www.apple.com/quicktime.

To download a song file:

1) Select a song file for Windows, and click the "Download Demo iSong" button.

2) A screen may appear asking, "What would you like to do with this file?" Choose the option to "Save this program to disk," and click OK.

3) A window will appear allowing you to select a location for the download. Select a destination for the download, and click the "Save" button.

4) The downloaded file will be named "Estudioxx," where the xx is a number (24, 25, or 26, depending on which file was downloaded).

5) Double-clicking the song file will extract it (decompress the file). You may be prompted to choose a location for the song file.

6) Once the file is extracted, double-clicking on it automatically launches the iSong Player. If it does not automatically launch the iSong player, double-click on the iSong player, and then choose the song file to open when prompted.


For Macintosh Users:

To download and install the iSong Player:

1) Select the Macintosh Player, and click the "Download Player" button.

2) The file should begin downloading; it will be saved on your hard drive in the folder specified in your browser's preferences.

3) The file type is an sea, or self-extracting archive. This type of file expands on it's own, and doesn't require any additional decompression software. If the file does not automatically expand once downloaded, you can double-click the "iSongMacInstaller.sea" file on your hard drive to expand it.

4) Once the file is expanded, double-click the "iSong Mac Installer" icon.

5) When the installation window appears, hit the "Install" button to begin the installation. The iSong player will be installed at the location listed under "Install Location." You may choose a different destination for installation by using the pull-down menu in the Install Location portion of the installer window.

6) Once installation is complete, restart your computer.

Note: You must have QuickTime version 2.5 or greater installed in order to use the iSong Player. QuickTime is included with most new operating systems, and can be downloaded at http://www.apple.com/quicktime.

To download a song file:

1) Select a song file for Macintosh, and click the "Download Demo iSong" button.

2) The file should begin downloading; it will be saved on your hard drive in the folder specified in your browser's preferences.

4) Once the file is expanded, you should see a folder named "Estudioxx.sea Folder." Inside this folder you'll find the song file and a QuickStart-Read Me file containing information on using the iSong Player.

5) Once the iSong Player has been installed, double-click on the song file that you've downloaded, and the iSong player should open automatically.
