Order Information:
When you order with Stagepass.com or SheetMusicScore.com, we collect your name, email address, mailing address, credit card number, and expiration date. This of course allows us to process your order and to notify you of your order status. When you ask a question or sign up for our free newsletter or other information services, we need only an email address, which we use to send the information you requested. We will never disclose or send promotional email to recipient addresses (email or otherwise). We do not save or store email addresses submitted using the share / bookmark feature on our sites. That feature is only for referring a friend or posting to one of the many social sites such as facebook, MSN Live etc. or saving as a bookmark. Rest assured we will never give out your personal information or email address to anyone else.
Use of Information Collected:
We do not use our customer information for reasons of sending unsolicited promotional emails of any kind unless that information is requested by the customer. We will never spam you, so you do not have to worry about giving us your email address during the ordering process. The only emails you will receive from us will be regarding your order, product updates (software only), or replying to a question or concern.
Like all internet companies we monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to help us develop the design and optimize layout of the store. We personalize your shopping experience by using your purchases to provide our recommendations about products that might be of interest to our customers such as what other customers have bought and similar items.
If your personal information changes such as email, address, etc, you may update it by signing into your Accounts page or the contacting the customer service dept.
Toolbar:
No information is saved when signing up for our toolbar nor do we spy on your behavior while surfing the internet. We made sure that there is nothing in our toolbar that spies on our customers surfing habits in any way.
Log Files:
Again, like all websites we collect IP addresses and browser types to monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to help us develop the design and optimize layout of the store. IP addresses are not linked to any personally identifiable information on any kind of permanent basis. We do record the IP when an order is placed for security. However since IP addresses generally change for visitors due to the nature of the internet they are not used for any purpose other than for prosecuting a fraudulent order.
Gift Certificates:
When ordering an email gift certificate, we need to know your name, email address, mailing address, credit card number, and expiration date. This information allows us to process your order and to notify you of your order status. We also need the recipient's name and email address to send the gift certificate.
When you contact us:
When you contact us via email or from the customer service page, we only use any information given to reply to your request or comment. Rest assured, we do not use this information to send you unsolicited email nor do we save your email or any other personal information.

For those people who still worry about using your credit card on the internet consider this. Everytime you swipe your card at any gas station or retail store your information is going over the internet for authorization. The days of taking paper to the bank have ended a long time ago and one way or the other you are using your credit card on the internet. Even if you call in your credit card numbers we still have to send it over the internet to get approval. So why even have the phone number option? Good question. It’s mostly there as a placebo for people who for whatever reason just don’t yet feel comfortable putting their credit card number online although it’s perfectly safe. We will probably be discontinuing this way of paying soon because as you can see one way or the other the information has to go over the internet to your credit card provider to get authorization. It basically comes down to trust. When you give your credit card to a waiter you trust he didn’t just get out of jail for credit card fraud. It’s the same in business. You have to have a certain amount of trust with the business you are buying from. We hope to earn your trust.
What are Cookies?
At times we use a feature of your Web browser to send your computer a "cookie," a small data file that's stored on your hard drive. We do not and cannot use cookies to retrieve personal information from your computer. Some of you (our customers) have requested a newsletter regarding product updates, sales etc. If you are interested in receiving this information and you have an account, you can indicate that by MyStagepass Account page under preferences. Simply click the 'turn on' link under the word Newsletter to indicate that you would wish to receive it. By default the newsletter will be set to the off position to insure that only people who choose the newsletter receives one. As soon as we feel there are enough people requesting such a service, we will implement a newsletter program.

Testimonials:
When customers compliment our service, we may ask them via email for permission to post the compliments in our Testimonial Section. As a matter of company policy we will not post any information such as email address, street address or phone number.

Stagepass.com Inc does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others The only exception would be is if we were required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process that involves our company.
We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include delivering packages, sending postal mail and email, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, and processing credit card payments. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes. This does NOT included credit card information as there is no reason for our employees to be able to see that information. That is restricted to only certain people in our account dept. who have access to our merchant account and the only time they see this informaton is when they have to process a refund.
Business Transfers:
As we develop our business, we might sell or buy stores or assets. In such transactions, customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets. Also, in the event that Stagepass.com., or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information will be one of the transferred assets as would be in any business sale.
