All disks on this site are 3 1/2 inch except for PianoSoft plus Audio which are marked as CD's. Our site is continually updated (removing files that are no longer available and constantly adding new titles). A breakdown of styles etc. can be found on the right hand side of all the pages or you can search by artist name. Always try the artist last name first (except for bands of course). For those of you that requested a downloadable catalog we now have that for you as well. Just keep in mind that this was created at the end of 2006 and some titles have been discontinued and of course will not contain any new titles added since then. PianoSoft Sync
Also known as Smart PianoSoft is a revolutionary software series from Yamaha for the Disklavier Mark III pianos. Smart PianoSoft diskettes provide piano accompaniments that enhance the music on popular commercially released CDs - top-sellers that you probably already have in your collection. By inserting both the CD and the matching diskette, the Mark III will magically play along with the music and vocals.

Diskettes are for use only with the specific CDs listed. The commercial CD is NOT INCLUDED and must be purchased separately. Each diskette includes a booklet with operating instructions.

Cue Time
Strictly compatible with guide lamp capable Clavinova digital pianos, Cue Time is the software that follows you. The player controls the playback tempo of a piece simply by playing the Clavinova in a completely traditional fashion. The Disk Orchestra Collection was the first multi-timbral software developed for the Clavinova digital piano. ROM cartridges
ROM cartridges are data storage devices (read only) which; in the Yamaha library; contain songs or styles usable with compatible PortaSound portable keyboards.

DOM-30
The DOM-30 is a tone generator that is DOC compatible.

Educator Collection
Educator Collection is a general term for methods, studies, standard repertoire or other teaching materials. There is an Educator Collection in the ClaviSoft library and the PianoSoft library.

MU-50/KMU-50
The MU-50/KMU-50 is a tone generator that is XG and DOC compatible.

Smart Key
Smart Key is a guide feature on Smart Key compatible Disklaviers which, when reading Smart Key compatible software respond by 'wiggling' the key to be played by the user.

Standard MIDI File
A standard file format for MIDI sequence data. The Standard MIDI File format allows musicians with different computers or different types of sequencers to share sequences. Abbreviated SMF.

TG-100
The TG-100 is a tone generator that is GM and DOC compatible.

XG
XG tone generation significantly expands on the basic GM format providing many more voices, voice editing capability, effects and other features that contribute to enhanced musical expression. XG is upward compatible with GM, thus GM can be accurately reproduced on any XG tone generator.
